How to Eat at every SouthSide Winter Restaurant Week Restaurant in 7 days
Breakfast – Day 2 of Restaurant Week’ing and for breakfast I definitely want a SOUTHSIDE BOWL from PLAYA BOWLS. This delicious wonder is an acai base bowl with strawberries, blueberries, peanut butter and granola, with bananas and cacao nibs. It’s a great healthy, and refreshing breakfast choice!
Lunch – I’m in the mood for Lunch with a view. An all-encompassing, I’m the Queen of the World view. You’ll find it in none other, then ZEST BAR+GRILLE. Their lunch menu is exquisite. Their Spiced pecan and goat cheese salad includes mixed greens, dried cranberries and a cider vinaigrette. The goat cheese and spiced pecans are absolutely the perfect combination. For my second course it’s a tough choice – I could go with the Smoked Salmon Sandwich or the Sweet Chili Glazed Chicken Sandwich. Today I’m feeling the Glazed Chicken Sandwich – it comes with crispy leeks, and is sprinkled with a hint of cilantro. Delicious!
Dinner – The minute I saw ANNA’S BRICK OVEN PIZZA was serving Crab Ravioli as an option on their dinner menu, I knew I’d be stopping by. Their three-course dinner menu includes Fresh Mozzarella with Fried Calamari as an appetizer, four choices for your main dish, and Anna’s amazing Cannoli’s for dessert. The Crab Ravioli is to die for – Sautéed with Shrimp, Peas, Onions, Tomatoes and served in a Pink Sauce.
