Chasing Hilma: Expanding the Reach of Abstraction

Opening reception for artist Lisa Stefanelli of the Baum School of Art and her students in the course Understanding Abstraction, affectionately known as Chasing Hilma. Inspired by Swedish artist Hilma af Klint, who is often credited with creating the first abstract paintings in the Western world, their mixed-media work will be on display through summer 2025.
