Chili Fest – Saturday, September 18th

Prepare your taste buds – it’s baaaaaack!!

Join us for Bethlehem’s favorite Chili Challenge – Chili Fest in the SouthSide Arts District, Saturday, September 18th from 11am – 4pm.

Entering our 25th year, we are welcoming over 20 competing chilies to contend for the Title of People’s Choice Best Chili and the Celebrity Judge’s Top Choice! Chili Tastings will be stationed throughout the shops and restaurants on 3rd and 4th Streets, and on the South Bethlehem Greenway.

Beyond the chili – live music will fill the streets throughout the downtown, free children’s activities on the Greenway, and a Cops ‘n’ Kids mini festival at Northampton Community College’s Fowler Campus.

12pm – 4pm – Chili Cook Off Celebration

Chili Tastings will be stationed throughout the shops and restaurants of 3rd and 4th Streets! Pick up your passport at the registration booth located on the Greenway between Adams & New Streets or buy online today!

What: One passport buys you all 21 chili tastings and a vote for your favorite! Passports cost $20, and may be purchased online here, or the day of the festival. But don’t wait – passports could sell out! Buy yours today! Passports can be picked up the day of the Festival at the Registration Booth located across from the Parking Garage at 324 S. New Street, starting at 9am. Please bring a copy of your email purchase receipt to claim your Chili Passport. for chili tastings only.

Enjoy live music throughout the downtown and at our Greenway main stage! Free arts and crafts for kids, lawn games and seating all on the Greenway.  Musician line-up includes:

*Passport purchase is required to participate in the chili tastings. Passports can be picked up the day of the Festival at the Registration Booth on the Greenway located across the street from the Parking Garage at 324 S. New Street, starting at 9am. Please bring a copy of your email purchase receipt to claim your Chili Passport for chili tastings only. Your contribution will benefit the merchants of the SouthSide Arts District, and the SouthSide Arts District organization. No refunds. Event is Rain or Shine.
