First Friday November 2021 – Veg Week Kick Off and Food Drive!

The harvest has arrived – let’s share our bounty! Join us for the kick off of SouthSide’s “Veg Week” and food drive. Live music and Vegetarian Dishes will be highlighted all evening, as well as a Community Food Drive for Second Harvest, Hispanic Center Lehigh Valley and New Bethany Ministries all week long! Help those less fortunate and enjoy an evening of music, fun and delicious food!

Lehigh Valley Charter Arts High School, 321 E Third Street –
This exhibition hosted by the Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts will feature the work of Saed Hindash. The exhibit will showcase Hindash’s work as the photographer for The Express-Times/lehighvalleylive.com, as well as his personal black and white photography.
This exhibit is part of the InVision Photo Festival. A FREE Opening Reception will be held in the school’s Corpora Art Gallery on November 5, 2021, from 6-8 PM as part of the Southside’s First Friday Celebration. Calling all girls!
Join us Friday, November 5 at Dinky’s Ice Cream, at 312 E. 3rd Street in Bethlehem for a free ice cream when you join Girl Scouts! Current Girl Scouts who wear their sash/vest and bring an item for the food drive will also receive a free ice cream.
We will be also collecting non-perishable food items to support First Friday’s Veg Fest food drive.
New friends and adventures await you today! Girls in K-12th are invited to sign up. We also are always looking for dedicated adult volunteers to serve our Girl Scout community.
Registration for the 2021-2022 is $25. Financial aid is available.
