First Friday Live Music Lineup

Artist: We’re From Antarctica
Location: 5 Maidens Cider Company, 327 Polk St., Bethlehem
Time: 6:30-9:30 PM
Description: We’re From Antarctica is one of the BEST up and coming young Indie-Rock and Alternative bands of the Lehigh Valley.  The band was created by guitarist/vocalist Carlos “Paco” Brown and drummer Christopher Rauch, and later joined by Jessie Rae (vocals/keys), Jon Blanco (lead guitar), and Mackenzie Kressley (bass). With introspective lyrics and a soulful, earth-bending, and dynamic sound, We’re From Antarctica provides a musical experience that you won’t soon forget.

Artist: Mosey Beat
Location: F&A Grog House
Time: 9PM-12AM

Description: Mosey Beat is a progressive funk rock group bringing high energy dance grooves, mellow waves, and classic rock and roll to create a new fusion of sound. The New Jersey-based power trio has gained momentum since 2012 in the Northeast PA area with their unique live show and improvised jams. Mosey Beat draws a diverse amount of influence from bands such as Umphrey’s McGee, Lettuce, Dopapod, The Police, Snarky Puppy, and Weather Report. They are not afraid of breaking the mold when it comes to their songs.

Sat, 05/07/2022 – 3:00pm

Description:
Join Pittsburgh’s Squonk Opera’s Squonkers as they manipulate gargantuan puppet hands (the size of houses!) to tell a spectacular and comic story. In this rock opera melee, giant thumbs detach to become truly opposable and challenge each other with guitars. Featuring original chamber rock music and an opportunity for audience members to come together to grab rigging, each individual powers a larger movement of giant fingers, a web of connections, a single dance. Hand to Hand encourages shared discovery and making a community of the imagination.
