Jack Murray and The Blue Tarp Wranglers – Well-Rooted Americana Music

Jack Murray & The Blue Tarp Wranglers bring a rich mix of folk, blues, rock & roll, and traditional country to Godfrey Daniels on Saturday, October 18 at 8PM. Murray’s acclaimed career includes decades of honky-tonkin’ and songwriting for some Nashville greats as well as delivering standout performances at the Philadelphia Folk Festival and MusikFest.

This is a very special evening with Jack and the Tarps. It will feature a much broader sampling of Jack’s own songs from both his Nashville sessions and from his debut recording, “Then There’s That…” from 2007. There will be some stories, some lost treasures and some new songs as well. Joined by the original Blue Tarp Wranglers: Alan Landes, Nick Franclik, Josh Kanusky, and Dave Van Allen, the band delivers a wonderfully eccentric, dynamic, and deeply-rooted Americana sound, perfectly suited to animate Jack’s remarkable songs.
