Music on Every Corner at Spring on the SouthSide
Spring on the Southside is almost here and the chili competition will be “heated”.
To make your journey from place to place a little “cooler” we’ve set up some musical “hot spots” to brighten your day. Follow this path and you’ll be sure to catch all our talented musicians. And don’t forget to stop and taste the chili at as many of our contestants as you can along the way.
Start your day at Domaci, 21 E 3rd St and enjoy the sweet sounds of Anthony Pasciuti (11am-1230pm). Next, stroll on down to Molinari’s at 322 E 3rd St where you’ll find great food and the always entertaining pop style of Jay-T until 1230pm. From 1230-2pm you will find classic rock guitarist and singer/songwriter Mark Hannig at Café the Lodge, 427 E 4th St. and Acoustic Kitty Project’s Carter Lansing and his original country/rock tunes at Social Still, 530 E 3rd St. But, that’s not all. There’s more music from 2-330pm.
If you stop by the Southside 313 Bar and Grill, 313 E 3rd St, you’ll hear the great sounds of pop/rock artist Doug Kaetz of From the Dark River. You won’t want to miss the Alternative rock sound of Plum at Roasted/Veg Out, 22 W. 4t St and finish off your journey at the Comfort Suites Hill-to-Hill Grill, 120 W 3rd St where you will find pop/rock artist Darin Jellison.
Of course, your day isn’t really complete until you stop by the Greenway where the winner of the chili contest will be announced around 4pm and we’ll have live entertainment on the outdoor stage from 5-7pm from Jack Murray and the Blue Tarp Wranglers.
There will plenty of other activities to keep you and the entire family entertained all day. Spring is here! We’ll see you on the Southside!
