It’s deep winter January, but my brain is on Spring. Spring on the SouthSide that is – and this year I need your help. I want your help. It’s been a festival 25 years in the making. It started out with just a few SouthSide merchants coming together and having a chili cook off and now I’m anticipating over 30 competing chilis, music across Third and Fourth Streets, and fun family friendly vendors throughout the Greenway. Each year attendance has grown to the thousands, but I’m always looking to improve and to make sure we are organizing an event for the community, built on what the community wants to see and do.

After every event we always send out surveys to our guests to find out how it went and what we can do better the following year. This year I want to get your feedback before the event! Find out your ideas, what musicians you want to see, other foods you may want at the festival, if you’d like to volunteer or be a part of the planning. This is a festival for the people of the Lehigh Valley, and I want it built by them too.
