Student Led Tour: Artivism; Resistance by Design with LUAG Museum Educator, Ryan Javier
March 27 @ 4:15 PM - 5:15 PM

Experience the power of creativity as a force for change in the AAD Faculty Exhibition. Artivism—the fusion of art and activism—has long been a tool of resistance, with artists throughout history using their work to challenge injustice and oppression.
The tour will take you on a journey through this compelling exhibition, where Lehigh professors and designers harness their chosen mediums to shed light on societal struggles. Discover how their art not only exposes oppression within their communities but also transforms into something even greater—a catalyst for awareness, dialogue, and action.
Register here and attend for free!
The tour will be led by LUAG Museum Educator Ryan Javier. Ryan Javier is a third-year Lehigh University student in the IDEAS and Global Studies program, Class of 2026. A member of the Asian Cultural Society, a Posse scholar, and now a museum educator, Ryan loves to travel and most recently came back from a semester abroad in Singapore! In his free time, Ryan enjoys biking, playing the guitar, and cooking.
